Slayers 2 All Evil Arts Ranked — Full BDA Tier List

Every Slayers 2 Evil Art ranked for PvP and PvE, with how to unlock Blood Demon Arts, V0.2 balance changes, and the best picks for bossing and duels.

What Are Evil Arts in Slayers 2?

If you play a Demon in Roblox's Slayers 2, your entire damage rotation lives or dies on one choice: which Evil Art you wield. Evil Arts — officially called Blood Demon Arts, or BDAs — are one of the two main ways players deal damage in the game, alongside Breathing Styles for Slayers. Picking the right one matters because a bad Art locks you into slow animations, long cooldowns, and awkward combos that better players will punish every time.

This guide covers all nine Evil Arts in the current build, how they rank for PvE and PvP after the V0.2 balance pass, and exactly how to unlock them. Whether you want to melt dungeon bosses or win ranked duels, knowing the full slate of Slayers 2 all Evil Arts options saves you hours of grinding the wrong orb.

Evil Arts vs. Breathing Styles

Blood Demon Arts are demon-exclusive blood magic. Each Art is built around a central theme — ice, dreams, arrows, sound — and grants a full five-move kit with one cutscene-level ultimate. Breathing Styles are the Slayer counterpart, so Humans and Slayers can't use BDAs at all. If you want an Evil Art, you need to become a Demon first.

All Slayers 2 Evil Arts Ranked (October 2026)

The V0.2 balance pass touched eight of the nine Blood Demon Arts, with separate PvE and Ranked adjustments layered on top. According to ProGameGuides' October 2026 rankings, here's where every Art currently sits:

Demon ArtTierBest ForPlaystyle
PyrokinesisSOverall / PvEGroup bossing, reliable confirms
ShockwaveSPvPReactive counters, hyper armor breaks
Obi ManipulationSPvPMixups, guard breaks
Dream ManipulationAPvPStuns, grab combos
Ice ManipulationAPvE / AoECrowd control, dungeon clears
ReaperAMelee PvPFast combos, mobility
TamariARanged PvEBoss sniping, zoning
ArrowARanged PvPZoning, defensive reversals
Blood ManipulationBPvE groupsBarrage DPS with Sickles

A quick note on naming: Tamari and Temari are the same projectile-based Art, and Pyrokinesis was previously labeled Explosive Blood — it is not a separate tenth Art. Destructoid's tier list uses slightly different labels and ranks Blood Manipulation as an S-tier PvE pick, which reflects how much group composition changes the answer.

S-Tier Evil Arts

Pyrokinesis took the overall crown in V0.2. Blood Tiles lost 0.3 seconds of endlag, V's opening punch now stuns for 2.5 seconds and confirms the heel slam, and blocking no longer escapes C after it connects. That reliability is why it's the broad recommendation for bossing.

Shockwave remains the reactive-aggression king. Its counter breaks hyper armor, and its strict stun confirms ranged conversion. The catch is the longer universal counter windup and a 16-second Ranked X cooldown — this Art rewards deliberate reads, not panic mashing.

Obi Manipulation rounds out S-tier as a niche PvP toolkit. Damage increases, guard breaks, and utility fixes turned it into a genuine mixup machine, though it still struggles in PvE.

A-Tier Evil Arts

Ice Manipulation (also called Cryokinesis) is the broad AoE controller. Its ultimate breaks NPC and boss guards on every hit again in PvE, but Ranked shortened X's knockdown from 3 to 1.95 seconds, delayed Z's first icicle by 0.2 seconds, and cut C's scaling and block damage. Strong PvE profile, more limited in ranked duels.

Dream Manipulation jumped to the front of A-tier after its ultimate gained 20% more damage in every mode. In Ranked, C's cooldown rose from 14 to 16 seconds and X's final explosion deals 4 block damage instead of auto-breaking guard. It's a stun-and-grab combo Art with some of the best PvP routes in the game.

Reaper is the mobile melee pick. Reaping Blades is Demon-only and pairs correctly with the Art, Cross Reaver keeps targets locked in place, and V0.2 raised Sonido Surge's Fighting Style damage by 20% while cutting its finisher ragdoll from 2.5 to 1.5 seconds.

Tamari rose from B to A because Z and X now deal 40% more damage to NPCs and bosses. It's the standout ranged bossing specialist — especially with Susumaru — but Ranked cooldowns on Z (16s) and C (18s) keep it a specialist rather than a universal pick.

Arrow stays the broader all-purpose ranged option thanks to improved catches, tap lock-on, Koketsu Arrow's stun-usable reversal, and Arrow Flight's 35% PvE bonus. In Ranked, Z and C cooldowns rise to 13 and 15 seconds.

B-Tier Evil Arts

Blood Manipulation is the odd one out. Destructoid rates it S-tier for PvE because nearly every move works as a barrage that allies can stack M1s onto, and V0.2 restored its X finisher guardbreak against NPCs. ProGameGuides keeps it at B because that same barrage identity does less in duels. Either way, it requires Sickles — plain Sickles drop from Hoyuzo and Blood Sickles from Gyutai at 7% — so budget the weapon alongside the Art.

Ice Manipulation Moveset Breakdown

Ice is the most visually complete Art we have footage for, thanks to a community showcase video. Here's how its kit actually functions, based on that demonstration:

MoveRangeEffect
Wintry IcicleZoneRazor icicles rain down; reactivating detonates ice spikes under the target
Cold White PrincessCloseTeleport-behind grab that freezes the target; doubles as a frame-one counter
Baron Hanging GardenLongBackward leap into a spiraling ice projectile that detonates in frost
Baron Hanging GardenCloseBlurred slashes that erupt into a delayed flurry of jagged ice
Freezing CloudCloseSpin-and-vanish grab that slams opponents into the ground
Freezing CloudLongFrost clone stomps, sending a jagged ice wave forward
Bordic (Ultimate)WideSummons an ice Buddha that shatters and fires explosive ice spikes

That dual-range design is why Ice covers so many enemies in dungeons — and why its close-range grab is considered one of the best in the game by community reports.

How to Unlock Evil Arts in Slayers 2

There are two routes to a Blood Demon Art, and both require you to be a Demon.

Route 1 — Muzan's questline:

  1. Reach -40 reputation to start Muzan's Demon questline
  2. Use the Biwa Bell to return to his lair
  3. Ask him for power — a roll costs 5 spins and can return no Art at all

Route 2 — Named Evil Art Orbs:

  1. Farm chests for a named orb: 2% chance from Ice, Rare, Sealed, and World Event chests; 1% chance from Common and Lost chests
  2. Claim and crush the orb in the same session — it disappears when you rejoin
  3. Complete the orb's core training
  4. Buy the moves through the Skill Tree

Every Art's ultimate comes from a matching boss drop rather than mastery alone, so a fresh unlock and a finished build shouldn't be judged the same way.

Resetting or Swapping Your Art

Changed your mind? An Evil Art reset costs 7 Ore or 100 Robux, reduced to 80 Robux with Roblox Plus. Resetting or swapping refunds your Art's skill-tree points, and previously lost points return the next time you join. Mastery retention is still TBA, so check the current prompt before committing.

PvP vs. PvE: Which Evil Art Should You Pick?

Bossing and dueling reward completely different things. A barrage that lets your party keep attacking can be exceptional against a boss, while a single well-placed counter can decide a duel before the biggest finisher ever comes out.

Your GoalBest PickRunner-UpWhy
Group bossingPyrokinesisTamariReliable confirms, 40% NPC damage on Tamari

Ranked duelsShockwaveObi ManipulationHyper armor breaks, guard breaks
Dungeon AoEIce ManipulationPyrokinesisBest AoE ranges in the game
Mobile meleeReaperDream ManipulationFast combos, gap closers
ZoningArrowTamariLong-range control, defensive reversal

One important Ranked caveat: V0.2 adds 20 seconds to every Blood Demon Art ultimate, halves refinement bonuses, and removes automatic out-of-combat health regeneration. Missed counters and ultimates create much larger punish windows than they do in general PvE.

A Note on Hyper Armor

Hyper armor lets an attack resist interruption during its active window, but you can still take damage. Earlier balance passes traded several i-frame windows for armor, and Shockwave's counter breaks hyper armor outright — which is a big reason it dominates reactive play.

Final Tips for Choosing Your Evil Art

  • Don't chase damage numbers. An attack that takes forever to start and everyone can see coming is worse than a weaker move that always lands.
  • Match your clan. Clan actives and passives contribute to a build recommendation, but they stay separate from the Art's own kit.
  • Budget your skill points. Unlock your Art's essential attacks, keep a weapon or basic-attack follow-up, and reserve points for stamina, health, and movement.
  • Tune your controls on mobile or console. You can force PC, Mobile, or Console controls, and mobile can now dash while blocking — but it still dashes forward rather than directionally, so Arrow and Tamari spacing plays differently than on PC.
  • Check the weapon tier list too. Gear bonuses are build synergies, not free ranking points for an Art.

For broader context on how these Arts stack up against the Slayer side of the roster, Destructoid's Slayers 2 tier list is a solid cross-reference — just remember that Project Slayers rankings do not carry over to Slayers 2, since the sequel reworked every moveset and combat system.
